Eric Fortenberry, Founder and CEO

Eric Fortenberry
Eric co-founded OrgSync in October of 2006 with the goal of establishing OrgSync as the leading technology in campus communication. Eric has sharpened OrgSync’s strategic focus and concentrated on creating collaborative software to build an online campus. He has established core company values centered on providing premier customer service, developing tools using the most innovative and flexible technology and creating applications that are easy to use and that meet the needs of all user groups. Eric has also placed a strong focus on enhancing user growth and development as well as creating a secure platform for users to interact and communicate.
Eric attended The University of Texas at Austin – Red McCombs School of Business. He graduated at the top of his class and received degrees in finance and accounting. Eric also earned his Eagle Scout Award and is a LeaderShape Institute graduate. In addition, Eric spent several years leading student and community organizations, and has served as Project Manager for several corporate ventures, case competitions, and academic assignments. Eric brings an unparalleled passion and vision to OrgSync that he strives to execute daily with the utmost levels of enthusiasm and integrity.
Chloe Chavez, Marketing Coordinator, Blog Editor

Chloe Chavez
Chloe recently obtained a Marketing degree from the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in December 2009. Chloe joined the team in January of 2009 and continues to apply both her taught academic skill and real world marketing experience to OrgSync’s branding and promotion endeavors.
Chloe held various leadership positions while at UT, including the position of Administrative VP for the Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA). As a director of HBSA, Chloe organized UT’s largest student-run spring career fair and executed 2 new highly successful community service events which incorporated several university organizations.
Leanna Laskey, Director of Campus Relations

Leanna Laskey
Leanna Laskey joins the OrgSync team from the field of higher education & student affairs. She holds a B.A. in psychology and minor in math from West Virginia Wesleyan College. As an undergraduate, Leanna became very involved on campus outside of the classroom and in student organizations, such as the Panhellenic Council and Student Government. She also worked as a student assistant in Greek Life, Athletics, new student orientation, and the math department. During her undergraduate years, Leanna’s co-curricular leadership experience paved the way to a career in college student advising with the aim of helping students set and achieve their goals.
Leanna earned her masters degree in Higher Education Administration from San Jose State University. At SJSU, she worked as the Greek Life Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Life & Leadership and the Resident Services Coordinator in University Housing. She conducted her graduate research on how student involvement affects student satisfaction, school pride, and intent to graduate. Leanna was most recently employed as the Coordinator of Student Organizations in the Office of Student Activities at Johnson & Wales University-North Miami. She has attended several conferences, including NASPA, ACPA, AFA, WACUHO, WRGLC, and CampuSpeaks Recruitment Boot Camp.
Cayce Stone, VP Business Development

Cayce joined OrgSync very early on as a co-founding partner and VP of Business Development. Early on Cayce was the sole salesman responsible for all of the company’s revenue. Since then Cayce has built a strong and passionate sales team of professionals dedicated to making OrgSync a higher education standard.
Cayce started his relationship sales career over 8 years ago with Vector Marketing. He has taught and mentored selling skills while in management positions with Dell Computer and Target. While in college, Cayce joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and served for 8 years. In the service he spent two years deployed, most of it in the Iraqi Theater of Operations, where he earned 13 medals and awards. In Iraq, Cayce managed the intelligence and operations center for HSC 980th EN BN.
Cayce attended The University of Texas at Austin and studied economics. As a student he founded The Longhorn Skiers, which has continued to grow and flourish ever since he was in office. He has also facilitated leadership courses while in the Boy Scouts of America and Phi Alpha Delta. Cayce’s experience and knowledge offers a level of passion and determination that both excites and motivates others around him.
Jami Jefferies, Director of Campus Expansion

Prior to joining OrgSync, Jami spent three years at her alma mater Concordia University Texas as Director of Student Activities. In that role, she supervised and coordinated a comprehensive student activities program including the Student Government and Leadership Association, social, spiritual, intramural and recreational activities, clubs, organizations and student publications. She also volunteered as the cheerleading coach and advisor to the National Concordia Student Leaders, an association of student leaders from each of the ten Concordia University System schools across the U.S.
As an undergraduate Jami co-chaired the Student Board of the International Center of Austin and led a team of fellow students at the Texas Independent College Fund’s Ethics in Business Debate. Jami graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration as a member of both the Alpha Chi and Sigma Beta Delta honor societies. Jami is now pursuing a Master’s of Art in College Student Development at St. Edward’s University in Austin.
Andrew Katz, Director of Community Relations

Andrew Katz
Andrew has brought an unmatched level of passion to OrgSync that has driven our client relationships to the next level. Working primarily in sales, he began his career in financial services and moved to OrgSync in the summer of 2007.
Andrew has been integral in the formation of the OrgSync Consortium, which is the collective foundation of thoughts and ideas from current clients that drive our collaborative development process. Andrew holds a degree in business administration from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.
Mike Dunk, Senior Sales Consultant

Michael Dunk joins the OrgSync team fresh from completing his Master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. As an undergraduate, Michael attended the University of Arizona where he majored in Political Theory and minored in Mandarin Chinese. Heavily involved in extracurricular activities, the majority of his time was dedicated to the Arizona Blue Chip Program, a 4-year, comprehensive leadership development program designed to “Build leaders who make a difference”.
Michael earned his master’s degree from Bowling Green State University and graduated in May 2009. While there, Michael advised the Student Alumni Connection, an organization designed to facilitate connections between current students and alumni. He also was the Greek House Director for the Delta Chi fraternity and was offered a membership bid in October 2008, which he gladly accepted. Finally, Michael worked in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union helping to design, implement, and plan events and services for a variety of audiences and purposes.
Due to his experience as a student-leader and as an adviser, Michael is very passionate about joining the OrgSync team because he sees the need for students, advisers, and various offices to communicate more effectively and efficiently. He hopes to bring OrgSync’s tools and services to many different campuses in order to help facilitate the learning, growth, and development of more college students.
