Our final stop along the tour was Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH. As we drove from Toledo, OH to Delaware, OH it looked like we were driving through a Normal Rockwell Christmas Card. We also drove through Ben Roethlisberger’s hometown of Findlay, which may have been fitting for the upcoming Super Bowl. OWU was a great way to end the trip. When we arrived at the hotel they had a welcome package waiting for us. What a nice surprise!

OWU has less than 2,000 students but can boast of producing Nobel Prize winners, former Vice-Presidents, social justice activists, and Hollywood notables. OWU has a diverse population with students from all over the world, with a beautiful campus that happened to be under a blanket of snow when we arrived.

The Student Activities Office did a great job promoting their student leadership summit, which we were proud to be a part of. When we arrived in the Union we saw posters and flyers promoting OrgSync. Before we arrived students knew the name OrgSync even if they were not fully aware of what our solution offers.

During the Leadership Summit we were able to present and train all of the student organization presidents and advisors. OWU hosted the first Leadership Summit we have been invited to, and we were excited for the opportunity. We were also able to meet the new president of OWU, Dr. Rock Jones, and the keynote Speaker Dr. Ron Binder from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Jones (who likes the students to call him ‘Rock’) and Dr. Binder did a great job of inspiring and motivating the full house of excited student leaders. The students provided a great audience to work with; understanding the importance, as student leaders to leverage programs and technology, such as OrgSync, to help improve the management and communication for their organizations.

I look forward to building a long lasting relationship with OWU and watching the campus embrace OrgSync’s full capabilities!
