How do you communicate with students?

Here is a great video by Kansas State Students and professor Dr. Michael Wesch.  There are a lot of take aways from this, but I think it is a great example of technology, culture, and communication.  Watch the video and let us know what you think.

AUSTIN, TX–(Marketwire – September 3, 2008) – OrgSync, Inc. (OrgSync.com) continues to grow and build partnerships this summer including their most recent school, The University of Arizona. The U of A’s 35,000 students and 500 clubs and organizations will be able to use OrgSync’s advanced organization management and communication tools. Students will have the ability to communicate with their organization and campus leaders, manage events, pay dues online, give feedback through interactive polls and surveys and much more.

“The University of Arizona is very excited to bring OrgSync to our campus,” said Peter Pereira, Advisor for Student Government. “After reviewing different services available for student clubs and organizations, we felt that OrgSync was the best choice due to the fact that it is user friendly and had more features than competitors for a fraction of the cost.”

OrgSync will also help campus-wide sustainability efforts, giving campus administrators the ability to post online forms, conduct assessment, and manage organization rosters without using a single sheet of paper.

Other schools that have joined OrgSync this summer include North Carolina State University, Brigham Young University at Idaho, Claremont-McKenna College, Dixie State College of Utah, Eastern Washington University, Emporia State University, Georgia College & State University, Greensboro College, Jackson State University, Lasell College, Muskingum College, Pacific Lutheran University, Ramapo College, Sacramento State University, Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi, Texas Tech University, Troy University, University of Arizona, University of Nevada at Las Vegas, University of Texas at Arlington, Utah Valley University, Victor Valley College, and West Virginia Wesleyan College.
